Typical snuff film that could of been done a bit better. What is the sense of having special effects and the latest gizmos without using them to show the power of Christ? But I must admit that the movie did make a whole lot of money!!

When ANY brother or sister stands up and really speaks the truth (no pun intended) and demands answers and action from the local Elders, YES! You can bet the tongues are wagging. As a standard practice, it is a common trait with many if not most JWs to be busy meddling in other people's affairs and they are just as bad as anywhere else on this planet. Although, the smell of self-righteous arrogance does permeate the air with JWs more-so than with normal people. Hell, you have to cut the air to walk through it sometimes.................................LMAO

suppose you were going to leave the planet for 2000 years and you wanted the entire earthly society of people who would be alive when you returned to know about you.
would you tell someone to write down all your words of truth since these words would produce salvation and eternal life to all who believed in you........or would you tell a handful of diciples or say even 500 buddies to spread your words to their children and down through the succeding generations?.

i served as the presiding overseer for 10 years, and as chairman and media spokes-person for a particular region.
during my time within the organisation that being almost 30 years, i have concluded that there is, as far as my own experience is concerned grave doubt in my mind as to the existence of the devil and his demonic hoard.

Do Individual JWs Pay For The Publications They Distribute?
by Joe Grundy inexcuse my ignorance, and i've read on boards about the us not selling/inviting contributions issue, but do individuals jws in effect pay for the publications they give out?
if so, is that only for their magazines or for hardback books as well?

I agree with you. However, GOD knows that man must stand up (so to speak) and speak out when "things" are wrong and people are being hurt and so forth. To be idle and just stand by and allow wrong things to happen when an Elder or a group of Elders could of made a difference, well, that sir, is a greater SIN than just being a R&F good old company boy for the GB!
I promise you, for those of you that do believe in Jehovah or Yahweh as the almighty GOD, there will be a harsh judgment for those that mislead and those that stood by and done nothing while the innocent people were harmed. And it does not make any difference what Religion or life situation we are talking about.

What is the naughtiest thing you ever did during a dist./circuit assembly? I will be totally honest with all of you fine people.
What I did was to stay for the whole assembly, ( bit my tongue) talk to many people and be nice to them.
I know this is hard to believe but it is true. Please forgive me!
